- Take Exit 5 off of I-91 (20 miles north of Brattleboro).
- Head east down the hill.
- .7 miles to Rt 5.
- Turn right on Rt 5 South
- .7 miles to Rt 123 East.
- Turn left on Rt 123 carefully through the narrow railroad underpass
- .4 miles across the Connecticut River to New Hampshire Rt 12.
- Turn right on Rt 12 South
- .6 miles to South St.
- Turn left on South St and travel .5 miles (past the one-way street, Elm St, exiting the green) to Main St.
- Turn left on Main St and left again on either Middle St or Westminster St to access the town green.
- The Walpole Town Hall is on the northwest corner on the green on the corner of Elm and Westminster Sts.
